The passing of the great Ervin László

It is with great and profound sadness that the entire CHAOS staff, its Scientific Committee, its research partners, and its Scientific Director, Prof. Piero Dominici, have learned of the passing of the great Ervin László.

An authoritative and prestigious member of our International Scientific Committee from the very beginning, he was a pioneer in systems theory, a theorist of evolution, and the founder of numerous international and transdisciplinary research groups and projects.

A man of great culture and broad horizons, he was always kind and open to dialogue with everyone.

We will always remember him for his insights, his studies, his research, but above all, for his great humanity.

CHAOS, International Research and Education Program, extends its deepest condolences to Ervin’s family and to all those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
